I’m a big fan of Project A-ko. It’s one of the first anime series I ever saw. Amazonmandy and Heidi got this group together for DragonCon 2008, and I was thrilled to join. It was fun to be Cko, though she’s normally not the type of character I like to do. But for some reason when we met up for this photoshoot, I had turned into Cko. They must have thought my wig was too tight or something.

The costume itself was pretty straightforward. It’s just a basic school uniform. I had some trouble finding a yellow wig at the last minute, so I wound up buying a long, straight, yellow wig from an extremely overpriced costume shop. Then I just curled it at home into Cko’s crazy dandelion ‘do.
